Joe Jurkiewicz is a visual artist involving complex narratives. His paintings explore themes of solemn, desire, loneliness, anxiety and exaltation. Pulling influences from street art and fashion illustration to create perplexing surreal imagery. Using no reference’s to refer too, Joe’s imagery comes straight from the depths of his mind. His impulsive nature can be found in his sketchbooks, which he’s constantly exploring new ideas, mark making and surrounding influences. Joe graduated from the Kansas City Art Institute of May 2016 with a major in Illustration.
